About
AT KATERI DAY CAMP
“We respect the land, the plants, the animals, the people, and ourselves.
We use good language, good behavior and a positive attitude!”
These words echo throughout our beautiful 260 acres all summer and long after summer is over. The “Respects” as they have come to be known, bring us together at meal times, help us to work toward a common goal and remind us to always be kind. We are proud of this tradition and we are especially proud of how simply “The Respects” explain who we are.
At the heart of Kateri Day Camp is a belief in the inherent worth of the individual and respect for the environment. This belief is lived through outdoor programs, sports, swimming, and creative arts that encourage all participants to respect themselves and the world around them while celebrating the beauty of nature.
Kateri Day Camp is located in Marlboro, NJ. Each summer through our annual campership program, more than 175 campers from low income families between the ages of 5-13 join us for seven weeks of hiking, swimming, playing, crafting, reading, and making friends! Transportation, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are all included. Many campers return each year to see familiar faces eager to reconnect and begin again.
Our exceptional staff is made up of talented, educated, and fun loving individuals who care deeply for our campers. The Kateri Day Camp community, campers, and staff teach one another and learn from one another. We are a very special place that creates everlasting memories.
